i dont hate their stuff. its never anything personal, even when they ocasional make personal threats. No i dont work for DA never have claimed to. nor to claim or aim to make myself nobel. But DA staff are very few, they cant get all the violations on their own, and even when they do, often users get no message as to why things are removed, i (and many other deviants) ask users to remove work themselves because if DA isnt wasting time with these problems, they can focus on the bigger jobs, like development of the site and its features. And actualy they do need help. i know someone who is hired by DA, and he suports what i do, as do the majority of people who ive come into contact with. weather its been them im talking to, or not.

If you dont wish to comment any more on this fine, i agree it would only get repetative, i leave with the sugestion of talking to DA. ask them if they find other users reporting vioations as iritating, or helpful.

One last thing, DON'T you DARE make yourself sound all noble. You do not work for DA and i am sure that they are quite capable of talking to the person themselves. They don't need your help or they would hire you. I'm sure that you are just as irritating to them as you are to us.

No. it causes me no physical or mental anguish. Yes its his wow acount, yes hes put alot of work into it, and yes not even blizzard care if he uses the screenshots. But DA does. DA does not allow screenshots from games, period, simple as, end of. if you or the user has problems with this rule, take it up with DA.

As for my finding it, thats down to the fact that this user, along with hundreds of others, decide to submit to the flash games section, which is for flash games. as an avid flash developer and a member of the flash community, it pisses me off when i have to trawl through 500 game screenshots, sketchs, and other miscats, to find a single flash file.

As for the result i think im gonna get? i dont expect anything, i just do my job by reporting these things to DA. and ive dealt with some abusive shit in the process from users, but thats a small price to help DA uphold the rules that these users agree to and then ignore.

Look, is it actually hurting you? Is him putting up screen shots of his character that he spent months getting to the level that it is and working on what he has worked on, actually killing you? Is blood coming out of your pores by him putting up this kind of stuff? He paid for the account he has and therefor should be able to display his hard work. So unless you drop dead tomorrow because he posted his wow char then buzz off. Stop looking at his page. I don't care if you put your head up your butt so you cant see it, but don't start telling people what they can and can not do, cause your not going to get the result you think your gonna get.

and having read the rules myself, and dealth with this issue involving many messages to the helpdesk to check if what im moaning at people for is correct, i can saftely say that no, taking an image and editing it just a little bit photoshop is not alright.

and if you had read the comments properly you would know this user was being spoken to regarding game screenshots. Which are not allowed, period. dont like it? take it up with da.

Game screenshots are not allowed on DeviantArt, even if blizzard says its ok. da policy supersedes that of any third party. Could you please remove any game screenshots from your gallery. FAQ #157: Can I use things created by other people in my submissions?
